How to Relax After A Long Day.

You woke up on a Monday morning to your alarm and you’ve already snoozed it five. times before.

Then it hits you, you slept through your first class of the week. So you get all your stuff together and run out the door to go to class and then you trip over the sidewalk in front of everyone. Today jut isn’t your day.

I’m sure we all have had days where we’ve forgotten about a paper that was due, tripped, or locked ourselves out of our room or car before. Believe me, if I had a dollar for every time I missed class, fell, forgot something or locked myself out I would be set for life.

If anyone has struggled with any of those things and has just had a long, hard, or just off day, here’s a few ways you can relax and feel better after a long day of mess ups.

  1. Treat yourself

Usually if I wake up late and don’t have time to look nice, I end up feeling gross and a little down because I literally just got out of bed and left. So when I’m not feeling too good physically, or even emotionally, I love to spend hours just treating myself. What I mean by this Is take a long shower, scrub and shave everything and everywhere. Do a hair mask, just take your time. Then once you get out of the shower, do a hair and face mask, and use your expensive lotion. Do your hair, who cares if you’re not going anywhere, you’ll feel amazing afterwards.

2. Exercise

I know this might sound weird for some, like exercise, why? I hate working out. Why can’t I just eat junk food? Well, you’ll probably feel even worse after that cuz you’ll feel gross and bloated. But if you work out you might not like it during but after you will feel so much better, like you somewhat have your life together. You’ll regret having a candy bar but you’ll never regret working out.

3. Journal

This is one of my favorite things to do. If I’ve had an off day or have a problem that I jut don’t know what to do with I’ll just write it all down in my journal. It helps so much to figure out what you really want to do. It’s kind of the same concept of talking your problems out except writing it all down. It’s very relaxing and calming.

4. Company

This is the most important one in my opinion. Who you spend your time with can determine your mood for the day, for the best or worst. I’m sure we’ve all had a time when were in a great mood and then someone comes and complains to you about there day and it just brings you dow emotionally. That’s why it’s so important to surround yourself with people who will boost you up and support you. Find friends that feel like Family.

Well, that’s all I have for you guys today, so until next time, I hope everyone has a wonderful day!!
